Psalm 37:5

“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

– Psalm 37:5

This is one of my favorite Bible verses, so much so that PS 37:5 is even inscribed on my high school class ring! This verse holds so many truths.

We must first commit our life to Christ. Getting saved is one thing, but actually committing your life to Christ – being willing to follow His every command and leading, is quite another.

We need to always have our trust in God. No matter how things are going – awesome, wonderful, terrible, or horrible – we need to trust that God will use whatever we’re going through for His purpose. We may not know what it is, exactly, but we know that it will fulfill His purpose for our life, or even someone else’s.

Finally, God will bring whatever “it” is to pass. Whatever “it” is, whether it’s an answer to prayer or the end of a struggle, everything happens in God’s time. It may not be right away, and it may not even be how we expected it to go. But we can trust that He will hear our prayers, and He never leaves our side.

So commit your life to Christ, put all of your trust in Him, and he will always help you through whatever your situation is.

If you do not know 100% that you will be going to Heaven when you die, now is the time to repent and put your faith and trust in Christ Jesus. If you have any questions or doubts about your salvation, click here to read how you can be saved.
